The one thing I did get it to do is restore the layout of an app, if it remained open on the screen (ie not minimised) and moved it out of place. I've tried exploring the different profiles and different apps, but it doesn't seem to offer this functionality. Out of the handful of times I tried to get this to work, the app also crashed once. No error messages, no restored layout, nothing. But on first installation thought I'd test it with some simple tasks of restoring an app window or two, so repositioned a couple of apps, saved the layout, minimised the apps and then tried to restore the layout only for nothing to happen. I bought this to manage my apps across multiple external monitors when switching between home and the office.
